SMC Networks announced that its 10Gigabit fiber and copper adapters for 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) server connections now have the added benefit of offering virtualization acceleration.

U4EA Technologies, Inc. announced it is expanding its Multi-Service Business Gateway (MSBG) product line with the introduction of the Fusion 500. The Fusion 500 is a converged access device that adds interfaces for legacy PBX system connection to VoIP and SIP Trunking services.

The product provides support for more than 200 file types including Microsoft Office and Adobe applications.

eTelemetry launched Metron 2.0, which adds bandwidth rate limiting, and Web site blocking and filtering capabilities to Metron, a plug-and-play network appliance that monitors individual and department-level bandwidth usage and network activity.
